Investments and Transactions

The Sigma Federal Alpha has invested in the following companies: Mint Turbines, a premier turboshaft and turboprop repair and overhaul company, specializing in maintenance, repair and overhaul of the PT6 A and T engines manufactured by Pratt & Whitney Canada. The Sigma Federal Alpha Fund acquired a minority interest in this Stroud, Oklahoma company in May 2009.

Keystone Turbine Services is a newly formed company in Coatesville, Pennsylvania serving as a Rolls-Royce authorized maintenance, repair and overhaul facility (AMROC) for the Rolls-Royce Model 250 series helicopter turbine engine and for Honeywell fuel controls and governors for the Model 250 and other engines.

Mint Turbines Mint Turbines, a premier turboshaft and turboprop repair and overhaul company. The Alpha Fund acquired a minority interest in this Stroud, Oklahoma company in 2009.
   
Mail 2000 Mail2000 Inc., an electronic mail fulfillment company. Formed by entrepreneurs, SRA International, and TNT Post Group, the large Dutch-based postal and logistics company. The company was sold to UPS in 2002.
   
RG 2 RGII Corporation, an IT platform contractor in the federal IT market. Acquired by Computer Horizons Corporation, a national publicly-held commercial IT services firm.
   
Aim Automated Information Management, Inc., a DOD and FAA IT contractor. Acquired by Computer Horizons Corporation
   
Com Global ComGlobal Systems, Inc., a San Diego contractor for weapons systems, including the Navy’s Tomahawk missile program. Acquired by Analex Corporation, a national publicly held federal technology contractor.
   
coda CODA, Inc. an epidemiology services contractor at NIH. Acquired by Social & Scientific Systems, Inc. an employee-owned medical technology contractor.
   
aguirre Aguirre International, a well-regarded policy advisor in San Francisco, CA for the State Department. Acquired by JBS International, Inc., a private information and analysis contractor.
   
3D Research Company 3D Research, Inc., a fast growing Huntsville, AL prime technology contractor with Redstone Arsenal. Acquired by Schafer Corporation, an employee-owned science and technology contractor.
   
Old Castle Oldcastle-Arpal, LLC, a national joint venture between Oldcastle Glass, a major structural glass company and Arpal Defender, the manufacturer of blast-resistant windows and doors.
